Chase Bays offers a Power Steering Kit tailored for BMW E30s, aiming to fix common issues like leaks and overheating while enhancing the look and longevity of your system. This kit replaces the factory parts with high-quality A.N. fittings throughout, from the reservoir to the pump to the rack. At its core is the Triple-Baffled Power Steering Reservoir, engineered to prevent aeration and spillover. Made from 6061 aluminum, anodized black, and featuring a Delrin Shim Bracket, it fits into nearly any BMW. Designed to handle pressures up to 120psi, the reservoir’s internal baffles effectively reduce pressure and prevent foaming. Additionally, the cap features a unique baffle design to prevent fluid from venting out, ensuring a spill-free operation. The kit includes stainless steel hoses with black PVC coating for durability, and an optional black aluminum heatsink cooler for added cooling efficiency, particularly beneficial for track cars, with temperature drops of up to 20ºF observed.
