- Turbo Coolant Routing: Features a 4AN ORB port on the side for routing coolant to the turbo. Includes options like a 4AN ORB Button Head Port Plug, 4AN ORB to 1/4 Barb for Push On Hose to Turbo Coolant Line, and 4AN ORB to 6AN for AN Hose to Turbo Coolant Line.

Product Description
A major problem for Toyota 1JZ-GTE and 2JZ-GTE engines, especially in swaps, is the upper water neck. It’s bulky, hard to fabricate, and often impractical. Even in factory setups, the hose routing is inefficient. Designing a compact solution was challenging due to the engine outlet and necessary attachments. The lower bolt of the water neck obstructs the ideal outlet path, requiring a redesign. Chase Bays’s solution involves a lower port with a spade design, allowing the neck to slot over a button head Allen bolt.
The Chase Bays Upper Water Neck is a compact fix for this ongoing issue in the JZ community. Made from 6061 Billet Aluminum, it’s bead blasted and UV-proof anodized in Chase Bays Signature Semi-Gloss Black. Despite numerous outlets, the design remains uncluttered. Available options include 1.38″ (35mm) Normal Push On Hose, 1.5″ (38mm) Normal Push On Hose, 16AN, and 20AN. It works with stock Bypass Joining Tubes on 1JZ and 2JZ engines, with Chase Bays offering their own versions for 1JZ, 1.5JZ, and 2JZ.
The 4AN ORB port on the side routes coolant to the turbo. Included are 4AN ORB Button Head Port Plug, 4AN ORB to 1/4 Barb for Push On Hose to Turbo Coolant Line, and 4AN ORB to 6AN for AN Hose to Turbo Coolant Line. For twin turbo setups, simply tee the outlet line for both turbos.
