Specs & Features
- Upgrade for Wilwood Clutch Master Cylinder: Chase Bays’s product allows you to upgrade to a Wilwood 0.625″ (5/8) or 0.75″ (3/4) clutch master cylinder on your FC3S/FD3S chassis without needing to cut or drill the firewall.
- Ideal for Transmission Swaps: Essential for transmission swaps that need a larger bore clutch master cylinder, as there isn’t a larger FC3S/FD3S one available for a direct swap.
- Aesthetic Improvement: This product offers a more attractive appearance compared to the stock FC3S/FD3S cylinder and matches Chase Bays’s Brake Booster Eliminator.
- Flexible Reservoir Options: Available with either a Billet Chase Bays Reservoir or a Clutch Feed Adapter hose to share fluid with the brake reservoir, similar to the stock Mazda setup.
- Durable Construction: Made of 0.125″ (1/8 or 3.17mm) steel with a black powder-coated finish. The master cylinder mounting studs are pressed and welded for extra durability.
- Stock-Compatible Thread: Uses the same M8x1.25 thread type as the stock setup for easy installation.
- Compatibility with Chase Bays Clutch Line: Does not fit with the stock clutch line but works perfectly with Chase Bays’s Clutch Line, which features a Banjo connection. A Banjo Bolt is included when you add the Master Cylinder to your order.
- Transmission Fitment: For Mazda transmissions, select the 0.625″ (5/8) bore. For GM LS T56/TR6060 or Dogbox transmissions, select the 0.75″ (3/4) bore.
Product Description
Chase Bays’s product is perfect for those needing to upgrade to a Wilwood 0.625″ (5/8) or 0.75″ (3/4) Clutch Master Cylinder on FC3S / FD3S chassis without modifying the firewall. Ideal for transmission swaps requiring a larger bore, this upgrade is necessary since no larger FC3S / FD3S cylinder is available. It also looks much better and matches Chase Bays’s Brake Booster Eliminator. You can choose between a Billet Chase Bays Reservoir or a Clutch Feed Adapter hose to share fluid with the brake reservoir, like the original Mazda setup. The black powder-coated plate is made from 0.125″ (1/8 or 3.17mm) steel and comes with master cylinder mounting studs pressed and welded in, using the same M8x1.25 thread type as stock. Note that it doesn’t fit with a stock clutch line, but the Chase Bays Clutch Line with a Banjo connection works perfectly. Use the included Banjo Bolt when adding the Master Cylinder, as the thread pitch differs from the stock clutch MC to the Wilwood MC.
