Product Description
Under high torque applications, the bolts between the torque converter and flex plate can slip. BD Diesel’s 12-bolt flexplate, equipped with BD’s Diamond Bite Shims, doubles the clamping load to prevent this failure, maximizing torque holding capacity. Proven to handle up to 3500 lb-ft of torque, it requires the matching 12-bolt Hi5 torque converter to use all 12 bolts, though standard 6-bolt torque converters can still be installed using only 6 bolts. Upgrade to BD Diesel’s 12-bolt flexplate for superior performance and reliability in high torque conditions.
